Question |
Why are your course fees so low? |
|
Answer |
After reviewing the fees of other
training providers, we started to
ask ourselves the question - 'Why
are they so high?'.
At the Academy of Celebrancy Australia®
Australia we believe education
should be accessible to all at a
fair price. We have structured our
pricing to be the 'fairest' in
Australia. This however does not
affect our product. Our course
materials are of the highest
quality, designed by practicing
celebrants of over 15 years. All our
education is delivered by highly
qualified trainers who also endorse
our belief for Quality, Substance
and Skill. We also give
much more
than any other training provider to the celebrant
industry. Why not try one of our
courses
and see for yourself.

Question |
I have read about other courses in Marriage
Celebrancy different to CHCMCEL401A
(Plan, conduct and review a marriage
ceremony). What are these? |
|
Answer |
The course code CHCMCEL401A (Plan,
conduct and review a marriage
ceremony) is the only unit of
competency required to be considered
as a Marriage Celebrant in
Australia. It does cover all aspects
of Marriage Celebrancy that are
required to become a quality
celebrant. This unit has been
designed by industry and the
Attorney-General's department. There
are additional units available in
Australia that can be added (and
these combinations can be called
anything like Diploma, Advanced
Diploma etc.) These are usually from
other courses that may promote
additional business and client
skills. The Academy of Celebrancy Australia®
now offers the full Certificate IV
in Marriage Celebrancy course. You
can find out more by clicking
here.

Must we marry in Australia? |
|
Answer |
No. However, you must make at least
one entry to Australia on the
Prospective Marriage visa before you
marry to fulfil the conditions of
your visa. If you do not, you may
not be allowed to enter Australia
and your visa may be cancelled. If
you marry outside Australia, this
must be a marriage that is
recognised in Australia for the
purposes of the Australian Marriage
Act 1961.
