Why did I become a Celebrant?
Being a Celebrant is a lifestyle choice for me, I wanted to be able to run my own business from home and still be around for my family and community. Obviously Celebrancy is an uplifting career choice but the commitment, passion, organisation and creativity also plays a major role and they are all traits that enthuse me. What ever the occasion in a persons life I believe it should be Celebrated from pre-birth rituals at baby showers to memorial services in remembrance of a loved one & in every opportunity in between! All of these occasions deserve special attention so that's what makes me want to encourage and celebrate with others.

What ceremonies do I perform?
As an authorised Marriage Celebrant I am able to solemnise marriage in Australia. Delivering ceremonies for my clients is a privilege, so if there is an area of your life, a family members, a friends or a communities that needs the outside influence of a professional celebrant than I will consider the challenge. I have conducted hundreds of ceremonies. Some of the ceremonies I have had the honour of delivering are Naming, Womanhood Ceremonies, Adolescence, graduations, Friendship Circles, Work Transitions, Ceremonies for significant Birthdays, Commitments, Engagements, Weddings and Memorial Services.

What is the most rewarding part of my career?
Crafting unique ceremonies suitable for each individual client is my goal. Watching family and friends come together to celebrate a person within ceremony and being a part of the consecutiveness is what is most rewarding. Other areas are crafting different styles of ceremonies with diverse needs - I love the challenge, I love meeting people and I love diversity.

What qualifications do I hold?
Diploma in Professional Celebrancy, Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy, Cert IV in Marriage Celebrancy, Cert IV in Small Business Management, Cert IV Assessment and Workplace Training, Cert IV Human Resource Management, Vice President of the Australian Alliance of Quality Celebrants and a fully appointed Civil Marriage Celebrant.
