Academy of Celebrancy Australia® will

information of trainees / employees.
1. Collection - Academy of Celebrancy Australia®
Australia will collect only the

of its functions. The individual will

information is collected.
2. Use and disclosure - Personal
information will not be used or
disclosed for a secondary purpose
unless the individual has consented or
a prescribed exception applies.
3. Data quality - Academy of
Celebrancy Australia® will take all
reasonable steps to make sure that the
personal information it collects, uses
or discloses is accurate, complete and
up to date.
4. Data Security - Academy of
Celebrancy Australia® will take all
reasonable steps to protect the
personal information it holds from
misuse and loss and from unauthorised
access, modification or disclosure.
5. Openness - Academy of Celebrancy Australia®
Australia will document how they
manage personal information and when
asked by an individual, will explain
the information it holds, for what
purpose and how it collects, holds,
uses and discloses the information.
6. Access and correction - The
individual will be given access to the
information held except to the extent
that prescribed exceptions apply.
Academy of Celebrancy Australia® will
correct and up date information errors
described by the individual.
7. Unique Identifiers - Commonwealth
Government identifiers (eg Medicare
number or tax file number) will only
be used for the purposes for which
they were issued. Academy of
Celebrancy Australia® will not assign
unique identifiers except where it is
necessary to carry out its functions
efficiently.
8. Anonymity -Wherever possible,
Academy of Celebrancy Australia® will
provide the opportunity for the
individuals to interact with them

9. Transborder Data Flows - The
individual's privacy protections apply
to the transfer of personal
information out of Australia.
10. Sensitive Information - Academy of
Celebrancy Australia® will seek the
consent of the individual when
collecting sensitive information about
the individual such as health
information, or information about the
individual's racial or ethnic
background, or criminal record.

To use some of our services users are
require to register as Members. The
information required includes email
address, name and other demographic
data.
Use of Information
Our primary goal in collecting user
information is to enhance your
experience on our Web site. We achieve
this goal by using the information that
you provide to tailor our features and
site to the needs of our users.
Several of our services require a user
to provide an email address. The
registered email address is used for
this purpose. To maintain contact with
our users we will periodically send
electronic newsletters which contain
content we believe would be of interest
to our members.
Most of our email based services to
our members are opt-in. Members always
have the ability to suspend all email
from the Academy of Celebrancy Australia® site.

information to others. Academy of
Celebrancy Australia® may

In the case of a breach of the terms
and conditions of our website we reserve
the right to provide the details of the
offender to the appropriate
Association/Client for any action they
wish to take regarding the breach.
