Celebrant Training - Become a Marriage Celebrant - CHCMCEL401A
Celebrants are members of the community
who perform celebration ceremonies
according to tradition, ritual or
individual preference.
A Marriage Celebrant is responsible for
recognising the importance of the
institution of marriage and significance
of the binding nature of the union
between a man and woman.
A Marriage Celebrant is responsible for
solemnising marriage according to law. A
Marriage Celebrant assists couples in
designing a unique ceremony and format
that closely meet their needs.
A Marriage Celebrant designs a ceremony
that allows family, friends and guests
to witness a couple's commitment to each
other; and wish them well and happiness
in their future married life together.
A Marriage Celebrant believes marriage
is founded on sincerity and
understanding which leads to tolerance,
confidence and acceptance of each
other's weaknesses and faults.
A Marriage Celebrant knows a happy
marriage will enable the couple to keep
a home where there will be love and
stability, where family and friends will
always be welcome.
A Marriage Celebrant believes that love
in marriage is to commit yourself freely
and without reservation, to be sincerely
interested in the happiness and
wellbeing of your partner, fulfill the
needs of your partner and bend your
values based on your partners needs.
A Marriage Celebrant believes if one is
lonely and needs solace the partner will
be there. If one needs the strength of human
touch, the other will touch you. If one
needs to be held the other will hold
you.
Celebrants assist people to claim
precious moments in life's journey by
performing a range of ceremonies which
include;
Weddings, Naming’s – all ages, Vow
renewal/recommitment services,
Commitment ceremonies, House blessings,
Graduations, Successes, Forgiveness,
Divorce and partings, Retirements,
Funerals & Death of a pet.
